The yarn I knit it with isn't as drapey as the yarn in the pattern but it is warm and cozy. I did it one repeat short, I got impatient, but I like it fine as is. This one will probably be a keeper for me.
Now I'm stuck. I really want to cast on for another hat, but the yarn I want to use is yarn I want to keep for myself but I feel like I should keep knitting things to give away but I can't really think of anything to give to anyone I haven't knit for that would appreciate it. I could knit something for Mom, but I've already given her a hat and mittens and I don't really have the patience for a scarf.
Decisions, decisions.
